The Microbiome Restore program supports a wide range of digestive conditions such as Clostridium difficile (C. diff) infection, inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s), intestinal dysbiosis (leaky gut), and more. The program prepares your digestive system by removing offending bacteria, then administers a diverse range of beneficial bacteria via FMT (Fecal Microbiota Transplantation).
Not only is the human gut, or gastrointestinal tract, and its microbiota emerging as the most essential organ system for overall health, but it’s also home to the enteric nervous system, known as the second brain. The enteric nervous system has two layers of over 100 million nerve cells lining the digestive tract. Research shows evidence that gut dysfunction does more than interfere with digestion, absorption, blood flow, and immune responses. Irritation in the digestive tract and imbalanced gut bacteria may send signals to the central nervous system that affect mood, cognition, and behavior. Therefore, gut health is a key to healing the whole body.

Pre-Treatment Home Program -The Microbiome Restore program includes an essential 30-day pre-treatment program to optimally prepare your body for FMT. GI-Map test kit, supplements, and dietary guidance are provided for the pre-treatment period.

Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) – Fecal microbiota transplantation introduces prepared fecal material from a healthy donor into a patient’s gastrointestinal tract. Research shows that FMT can restore beneficial bacteria in the lower intestine. Super donors are pre-screened for chronic diseases and healthy microbiome diversity.
Aftercare Support – A second GI MAP® is offered along with a call from your doctor to explain the results and review how your microbiome has changed.
